ARTIFICIAL LARYNX REPAIR SERVICES We repair, service and tune Artificial Larynx Devices in the Communicative Medical Speech Laboratory. We have specific training in artificial larynx repairs, and experience working with thousands of laryngectomees and the equipment they rely on for speech. We service the Servox INTON, Servox DIGITAL, ROMET, TruTone, SolaTone, Nu-Vois, and many other devices. Our turnaround time is fast and we WARRANTY our work. Does your artificial larynx sound bad? Has it been chewed up by the dog or dropped in the sink? In most cases, we can rejuvenate your machine to factory specifications. Equipment sent to Communicative Medical goes through a 21 point evaluation where parts are tested and replaced. Your device is cleaned and sanitized and again tested before it leaves our facility. While some other repair services boast that they repair "only what is wrong" we insist on a complete evaluation and repair because we feel that repairs need to be complete and thorough to ensure proper reliability. WE DO NOT use aluminum parts which are uncomfortable, unsightly and negatively alter the wear and timbre of your equipment. We use only new components and will never, never use inferior techniques to "repair" microswitches. We strictly maintain the equipment that is used to evaluate and repair your device. Last but not least, we have repaired thousands of devices and have the necessary experience to work on your equipment. HOW TO SEND US AN ARTIFICIAL LARYNX FOR REPAIR, TUNING OR SERVICE: Package your artificial larynx in a padded box and ship by insured mail. Express mail in the United States is the fastest service. If you include your charger and batteries we will evaluate those too. If the batteries are bad or leaking, we will discard them. BE CERTAIN to place a note in the box that includes your name, address, phone number with area code, and a brief description of the problems you are encountering. If you need an estimate prior to repairs being made, please let us know on the same note. If you would like us to quickly repair the device, ship it, and bill your credit card, please include the credit card number expiration date, and signature on your note. If you have preferences involving timbre, tone, and volume please let us know and we are happy to adjust your device accordingly. We are also able to adjust for gender. MEDICARE CLAIMS: Repair services in the Communicative Medical speech laboratory are sometimes covered by Medicare. Please follow the instructions under Medicare.
